1952
Ishikawajima Koehring Co. is established under a technical / capital tie-up between Ishikawajima Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (IHI), and the U.S. firm Koehring.
1953
The first mechanical excavator and batcher plant are produced.
1965
Sixty-six excavators are exported to Thailand's Royal Irrigation Department.
1968
One hundred fifty 325TC truck cranes are exported to the Philippines' Bureau of Public Highways.
1971
A hydraulic excavator assembly plant for mass production is completed.
1974
The CH series fully hydraulic crawler cranes are developed.
1977
Tie-up with Koehring is terminated and the corporate name is changed to Ishikawajima Construction Machinery Co., Ltd.
1978
Thirty-six IPD80/90 hydraulic pile drivers are exported to China's Baoshan Steel Works.
1980
The world's largest batcher plant barge (90m3/h) is completed.
1981
The 150-tonne lifting capacity CCH1500 fully hydraulic crawler crane is developed.
1984
Thirty TH350 truck cranes are exported to Indonesia's Sea Communications Bureau.
The world's first hydraulic double-axis forced mixing mixer is developed.
1985
5,000th Concrete pump is sold.
1986
Fifty IPD20T-U4 mobile pile drivers are exported to the Soviet Ministry of Oil Industry.
1988
The IS30G mini hydraulic excavator G-series is awarded the Good Design Award by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry of Japan.
The world's smallest mini excavator, the 400-kg IS4GX, is developed.
The five-tonne lifting capacity CCH50T hydraulic crawler telescopic crane is developed.
The DCH6020 fully hydraulic crawler crane is developed.
1989
A license agreement is signed with Koehring to manufacture IHI model hydraulic excavators in the U.S.A.
Local production of mini hydraulic excavators begins in Europe.
The unmanned transport vehicle AGV is developed.
1990
The concrete pump successfully delivers concrete during the construction of the new high-rise Tokyo City Hall.
The commercial right of vibro hammer is taken over from Nippei Toyama Corporation.
1992
The offshore hydraulic hammer made by German firm Menk is delivered for the construction of Tokyo Bay Crossing Motorway.
The IS9UX zero turning mini excavator is developed.
1993
The IPG60DT-18N high-pressure concrete pump is used for the construction of Yokohama Landmark Tower and succeeded to deliver concrete up to 296m height from the ground.
The IC30 crawler carrier is introduced.
Ishikwajima Construction Machinery Europe B.V. (ISHICOM) is established in the Netherlands. (100% share-hold subsidiary)
1994
IHI large capacity batcher plant is delivered to China for the enormous construction of Yangtze Three Gorges Dam.
1995
The CCH650 luffing jib crane and luffing tower crane are introduced.
Zero tail swing mini excavators, "JX" series are introduced.(12JX, 20JX, 30JX, 40JX)
1996
Certification of ISO9001 is granted.
Japan's first 36 meter-boom mobile concrete pump is developed.
1997
Zero turning mini excavators, "Z" series are introduced.
The DCH900 heavy-duty crawler crane is developed and introduced.
1998
The next generation control panel system, "Bit-1" is developed.
The IC70 and IC100 crawler carriers are introduced.
The circulatory plant for recycling soils and materials is delivered for the tunnel job in Kobe.
1999
The 30NX & 35NX zero tail swing mini excavators are introduced.
An agreement is signed with Trex Corporation to manufacture crawler cranes on OEM basis.
The CCH30T mini crawler crane is developed. 25 units are exported to AGD Equipment in the UK.
The IPG35DT-6N stationary compact concrete pump is developed and introduced.
2000
The 80NX zero tail swing excavator is introduced.
2001
The SWP15 sweeper is introduced.
A technical assistance agreement is signed with Beijing Crane Works to manufacture wheel cranes CCH280WE and CCH400WE.
The agreement is signed witn Nippon Sharyo,Ltd to establish the cooperative relationship for crawler crave business.
2002
ERP(enterprise resource planning) is started.
The 15NX zero tail swing mini excavators is introduced.
IHIMERs.p.A is established in Italy under tie-up with IMER firm.
General distributorship agreement in Japan and OEM supply agreement is signed with German firm Demag.
2003
The MCR-T5 general construction crane is introduced.
The first zero tail swing excavator of V series, 30VX is introduced.
The CC8800 Japan's largest crawler crane made by German firm Demag is delivered to Mic co.,ltd.
2004
The BIT-MAX batcher control panel is introduced.
The 65NX zero tail swing excavator is introduced.
The CCH2500 crawler crane is introduced.
IHISCE is established in China under tie-up with Chung Chun Machinery Limited.
The NIK900T crawler crane is introduced.
2005
The CCH700 crawler crane is introduced.
Certification of ISO14001 is granted.
A Factory of IHISCE is completed and the production begins.
2006
A licensing agreement is signed with Beijing Jing Cheng Heavy Industories to manufacture the CCH550WE wheel crane.
