IK establishes an Environment policy and conducts environmental conservation activities on the policy basis.

Environment policy

Basic policy IHI Construction Machinery Limited(IK) head office and Yokohama factory must fulfill their responsibilities as members of the international community and IHI group under a global environmental conservation activities for company's lasting developments. Therefore IK makes it a basic policy to keeps seeking improvements and maintenance of environment by reducing environment load of production process,preventing environmental pollution and offering good products for people and environment.

Action guideline IK complies national laws andregulations and other requirements. IK tries to produce eco-friendly products. IK promotes energy conservation,resource saving,reducing wastes and recycling. IK maintains the organization/structure, sets an environmental aims and tries to improve environmental management system to promote environmental activities. IK familiarizes employees with environment policy through educations and public relations. And employees try to maintain and promote environmental activities to clarify their stance on environment.
